This week’s fab five Friday will focus on Facebook as I have the pleasure of attending Mike Stelzner and Social Media Examiner’s Facebook Success Summit 2012 as the guest of my friend, Marc Ensign, who won two tickets on the Social Media Examiner website. Check out Marc’s blog and this post How to Create Your Own Good Luck. I found Marc first but I am willing to share him with you.
Week one was packed with amazing content so I created Storify stories of the first four events. Mike has created a really well run, professional program PACKED with content. Guess what, Facebook is not easy and it is getting more challenging by the day. You need to work hard to keep up on all the changes that Facebook is making. Create your own competitive advantage!
If you are not attending the sessions, follow the #FBSS12 hashtag stream on Twitter each event is being tweeted live and there is a lot of great content being shared throughout. Watch for my stories that I create on Storify.* You can subscribe to my Storify feed here.
*post next Monday on how to use Storify ~ subscribe to my blog on the right sidebar so you don’t miss it!
Enjoy the tips that the Facebook experts shared:
Keynote presentation Mari Smith: Why and How Businesses are Succeeding with Facebook
Five Facebook Strategies to Convert Your Fans via Amy Porterfield
How to Achieve Business Influence Using Facebook with Mark Schaefer
How to Grow Active Facebook Communities with Andrea Vahl
I have already made some great new friends, bonded more with others and learned so much. Keep educating yourself to succeed in social media! I am looking forward to what the rest of the conference holds.
